That's what we said to the creams, cleansers, and conditioners that we bought, only to find out that they didn't play well with our hair's porosity and curl pattern. So instead of pouting (OK, maybe a little pouting), a group of us curly and coily-haired folks helped craft hair care products for the specific ways our hair retains and sustains moisture.
